EXCELLENT Based on 156 reviews Posted on Mgdelima196612 November 2025Verified Amazing experience and very professional and friendly guide! My wife Annie, son Thiago and I had a fantastic time on Mull, especially because of Laura's exceptional knowledge of the island and where to find the "big five". Everything was well planned, and the packed lunches prepared by Stevens were excellent. Our group was lovely too. We very much enjoyed our time together with Fiona, Ernie, Nerys and her son Gruffydd, and Alun.I think about Mull a lot since then, and I hope to go back soon!Posted on Debra A2 October 2025Verified Highly recommend We recently joined Laura on a wildlife excursion and we must say it was a great experience.Laura is a wildlife enthusiast and her knowledge of the wildlife and scenery is impressive. There is a reason why her reviews are excellent. We were very lucky with the weather during our break and our group of 8 were very friendly and good company. We were fortunate to see Otters these were the highlight of the trip. We also saw dolphins, minke whale, gannets, razorbill, hen harrier, white tailed eagle from a distance, seals and pups, various waders, waterfalls, beautiful beaches and Fingal’s Cave.Laura’s driving was comfortable and she often spotted wildlife and pulled over. The whole experience was flawless and we would highly recommend Laura and her wildlife breaks.Posted on Elaine Rawson2 October 2025Verified The best Scottish wildlife break I could imagine. This was a return visit to Isle of Mull. My husband and I and a friend. During the holiday it was my husband's 70th birthday and couldn't think of a better place to celebrate. We first went two years ago, booking with Mull Wildlife Breaks. It rained, we had tail end of a storm, we saw the island at its foreboding best and loved it. So much so, we returned. What a difference, breezy and sunny and even warm some days. Both holidays we saw an abundance of wildlife, otters, seals, red deer, eagles, hen harrier. Our guide, Laura, was superb. From meeting us at the ferry terminal to comfortably driving us all around the island, the operation was slick with no hitches. Very knowledgeable on her wildlife and of the island. She is personable, friendly whilst maintaining professionalism. On our second visit she welcomed us back like old friends. Our packed lunches prepared by Stephens were amazing and we looked forward to our individual picnic hampers each day.We love Mull and intend to return and of course will book with Mull Wildlife Breaks.Would highly recommend.Posted on Gubby1328 September 2025Verified Stunning Trip We had an outstanding trip, very capably guided by Laura and not forgetting Stevens who provided the very tasty tailored lunchtime hampers. The trip was so enjoyable and Laura’s knowledge allowed the group to learn so much, not only about the local wildlife, but also about life on Mull. We were so lucky with the weather which showed off Mull and the surrounding islands to their absolute maximum. We managed to see a wide variety of wildlife, including Otters, Hen Harriers, Deer, Seals, Dolphins, Minke Whales and Eagles, although they preferred to keep their distance! It was great to be with like minded nature people who also made the trip so enjoyable. Highly recommended.Posted on LizLuton22 September 2025Verified Yes- I would love to do this again! We were met at Craignure and then totally taken care of. Laura, our Guide, was excellent, knowledgable, courteous and fun. Our hotel was very comfortable, although some of the rooms lacked a view and were a long walk from the bar and restaurant. The food choices were comprehensive and the food was tasty and well- presented. Packed lunches were provided every day- to suit individuals.Considering the poor weather, Laura adapted the plans for the best possible experiences. We did not make Staffa and Lunga, but we did get to Iona. The thrill of the trip for me, was seeing otters and a hen harrier. An excellent trip!Posted on Nerys15 August 2025Verified Isle of Mull July 2025 My 13 year old son and I an amazing time on the Isle of Mull. Mull’s scenery was beautiful. Laura, our guide knew exactly where to take us to see the wildlife and she was extremely knowledgeable about the birds, mammals, butterflies and wild flowers. Seeing a sea eagle, golden eagle, and a hen harrier up close was a dream come true. The packed lunches each day were delicious. My son is lactose intolerant and his dietary requirements were met both in the hotel and with Stephen’s wonderful packed lunches. The hotel was a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed walking to the beach in the evenings after supper. This has been an experience we will both never forget. Thank you Laura and Stephen.Posted on fifilala464 August 2025Verified Great guided wildlife holiday Really enjoyable 5 days on Mull led by our guide Laura. We saw everything we wanted to see, some closer than others, but that’s wildlife I suppose. We especially loved the boat tour to Staffa and Lunga and the trip to Iona, together with the fact that we had plenty time at each stop to try to spot the eagles, otters and other wildlife. We definitely would not have seen nearly as much without Laura’s knowledge of where to look! The packed lunches and buffet lunch deserve special mention. Great care was taken by Stephens with all the varied dietary requirements of our group. The Isle of Mull hotel was also lovely- great setting with delicious dinners each night. Highly recommended tour.Posted on Marjorie M16 July 2025Verified A magical experience I absolutely loved this holiday! Laura is an fantastic guide - her super knowledge of the wildlife and habitats on Mull, and her sharp eyes, meant that we saw a wonderful variety of species, and learnt a lot. Her calm, friendly approach made everything very enjoyable. Wildlife highlights for me were seeing otters, hen harriers, sea eagles and a golden eagle, and hearing corncrakes on Iona - all firsts for me and so exciting! The silence and peace of standing in such majestic scenery, watching iconic wildlife was magical and will stay with me for a long time.I also enjoyed the variety that is built into the break: the boat trips, geology on Staffa, a wildflower meadow, a stunning waterfall, temperate rainforest, a chance to look round Tobermory, and history on Iona. The itinerary is flexible , taking account of weather conditions and species not yet seen. Our hotel was lovely with panoramic views, friendly staff and excellent breakfasts and dinners. Stevens provided delicious, home-made lunches for us every day and was an excellent guide on our boat trips out to Staffa and Lunga where we enjoyed many seabird sightings. This was my first visit to Mull and the first time I had been on a guided wildlife holiday. I really enjoyed the company of the other members of our group - thank you guys! I would love to come back to this wonderful island and I would whole-heartedly recommend Mull Wildlife Breaks.Posted on THISTLETON2210 July 2025Verified I would recommend I really enjoyed my time on the wildlife break. We were well looked after, with delicious home cooked lunches every day. Puffins and dolphins were the highlight for me. The food at the hotel was delicious. The only thing I was slightly disappointed with was the limited choice on the menu. I think this was more the hotels policy as opposed to Mull Wildlife Breaks. If you are a fussy eater, then the limited options may be an issue. There is a lot of driving around, but with plenty stops to spot the wildlife.Posted on Tim C G2 July 2025Verified Magnificent Mull The Isle of Mull. One minute serene, the next wild. It encapsulates Scotland; towering hills & a munro, beautiful glens & entrancing lochs. And the wildlife reflects this habitat from the spectacular eagles soaring & diving through the many birds to the comical puffins, seals, deer, whales & otters. And you are guided around the Isle & its neighbours Staffa, Lungu & Iona by Laura, who has her inimitable style and Stevens who also keeps you well fed with lovely lunches & home made biscuits! And on top of that you stay in a wonderful hotel. You will not be disappointed by Mull Wildlife Breaks. You will be bowled over, if not hit for 6!Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
