A wonderful week of wildlife on Mull Our wildlife adventure on the Isle of Mull was a fantastic experience, and we would highly recommend Laura and Stevens to anyone wanting to explore the island with knowledgeable and passionate guides. Laura’s knowledge of Mull and its wildlife was exceptional. She had a fantastic eye for spotting things we would easily have missed and shared her knowledge in a way that brought every sighting to life. During the week we were fortunate enough to see a wonderful variety of wildlife, including white-tailed eagles, otters fishing in the loch, seals, minke whales, common dolphins and a wide range of birds. Laura also introduced us to some of the smaller details of the island, including interesting fungi and plants, which gave us a greater appreciation of the whole ecosystem. The weather on Mull can be unpredictable, but Laura adapted our plans to make the most of every day. Thanks to her careful planning, we were able to enjoy trips to Staffa and Fingal’s Cave as well as Iona, both of which were highlights of our visit. Stevens’ homemade lunch baskets were another real highlight. Everything was prepared with care, from the bread and wraps to the cakes and pastries, and they were tailored perfectly to everyone’s preferences. It was a lovely extra touch that made each day feel special. We stayed at Glenforsa Hotel, which was a very comfortable and welcoming base for the week. The friendly staff, good food and beautiful setting made it a lovely place to return to each day, with the beach, river and grass airstrip all adding to its character. One of the most memorable moments of the trip came right at the end, when we watched golden eagles soaring over the valley. After such a wonderful week exploring Mull and experiencing its incredible wildlife, this was a very emotional moment and the perfect way to finish our adventure. Thank you Laura and Stevens for sharing your knowledge, enthusiasm and hospitality with us. We returned home with some wonderful memories of Mull and the incredible wildlife we were fortunate enough to see. Elaine and Craig

Top Marks! Go! An amazing trip for us both. Seeing an otter bring in a freshly caught fish to devour was a great experience. A golden Eagle flying right past the van! Beats the Red Arrows!! Seals with pups near Staffa. Sun shine at Fingles. Dolphins jumping close to our boat. Dramatic views. After a long dry summer down south the rain was a relief too!! Laura knows her stuff!! Stevens food is amazing. They are a good team and guided our week perfectly for the conditions pertaining each day. Lung Lichen! Its the small details you don't expect.. a wildlife tour in all its detail. Ten out of Ten. Phil n Penny

A truly wonderful break. From Janet and Malcolm What a wonderful holiday. Laura was able to show us wildlife we'd never have seen had we been on our own. One mustn't forget Stevens'packed lunches - they were something to write home about. The hotel was truly excellent from the point of view of comfort and the lovely staff. The only downside was the culture shock experienced on leaving the island.

Magnificent Mull What a wonderful week on magnificent Mull…Laura and Stevens provided everything and more to ensure we fell in love with Mull and all she has to offer. Laura’s expert knowledge and enthusiasm for the flora, fauna and landscapes was infectious, and the locally sourced lunches provided by Stevens were delicious! Our highlights were seeing Otters, our trip to Staffa and the stunning Fingals cave, escorted each way by pods of dolphins and our impromptu beach clean! Thank you for an unforgettable experience which we recommend highly! Jill and Paul

Mull Wildlife Breaks highly recommended My wife Jill and I had a wonderful time with Mull Wildlife Breaks, very well looked after by Laura and Stevens (hotel and food were excellent) and incredibly well guided by Laura who knows everything about wildlife on Mull and about Mull in general. And what a beautiful part of the world. It was a small group of like-minded people who all found the experience very rewarding. To be recommended!

Wonderful way to experience Mull's wildlife, scenery and culture. I am a specialist palaeo-anthropological nature guide in South Africa and am well versed in wildlife safaris. This is a very unique experience where Laura and Stevens (the owners) go out of their way to make this special. Not only are they knowledgeable about the whole ecosystem on Mull but they are able to give a feel for island life. I enjoyed the trips to both Iona and Staffa. Fortunately, we were able to land on the latter which made it very unique. The Glen Forsa hotel is comfortable, and the staff are very friendly and obliging. Stevens packed lunches are unique. The last days lunch was a particular highlight. I can't recommend this holiday too highly

A truly wonderful holiday Like the individual hampers provided for our lunch, this trip was thoughtfully planned, home-made, nourishing and offered a different experience every day. The days were well paced, informative and gave us a wonderful introduction to everything that Mull and the surrounding islands have to offer. Laura, our guide, was knowledgeable about birds, sea life, animals and plants. She managed expectations – nature does not deliver on demand – and provided a safe and inclusive overview of the island. The accommodation in The Glenforsa Hotel was comfortable, with delicious food that catered for all dietary requirements, friendly staff and amazing views. I highly recommend this company.

Magical Mull I can't stress enough how much we enjoyed our time on Mull with Laura and Stevens. The Island was stunning, despite the weather (!) but Laura's amazing local knowledge and Stevens' yummy lunches plus their little personal added extras made it a holiday to remember.

Mull Wildlife Breaks wonderful holiday I have just returned from a fabulous holiday on Mull with Mull Wildlife Breaks. Laura and Stevens are excellent tours organisers with emails sent before the break to ensure I had all the information I needed. Laura is a really knowledgable guide, she knows all the best places to find the most iconic species on Mull. We had a fantastic encounter with dolphins racing our boat and leaping feet from the hull. My other highlight was watching an otter feeding and grooming on the shore line. Each day was filled with lovely experiences and there was never a rush to move on. It was all done at a relaxing pace that allowed everyone to see everything they wanted. Finally I must mention the very tasty lunches prepared by Stevens which included a buffet lunch on our final day.
