EXCELLENT Based on 180 reviews Posted on Tripadvisor 8RosieT9 August 2026Verified A wonderful week on a beautiful island. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this holiday despite the odd bit of bad weather. Laura is an excellent guide, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about both the island and the wildlife. Packed lunches were excellent and it was lovely to eat outdoors, especially on the beach. A party of only 7 meant that there was time for everybody to take part. Beautiful scenery, I think this may be the most beautiful place I have seen in my life so far. I wish I could have stayed longer. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were wonderfully friendly. Highlights were seeing otter and white tailed eagle and the visit to Iona.Posted on Tripadvisor Explore8130719 August 2026Verified A break with a personal touch Laura and Steven’s run a remarkable trip around the beautiful island of Mull. The location speaks for itself but the thoughtfulness and many acts of kindness make a wildlife visit extra special. Highly recommended.Posted on Tripadvisor 47MikeKent31 July 2026Verified Brilliant wildlife experience!! Brilliant!! Laura and Stevens showed us expertly everything that there was to see. Otters, seals, eagles, puffins, and many other birds. Plus all day boat trip to Fingals Cave and an island for seeing puffins, and a trip to Iona. Hotel was good, great location by the Lough, and Laura and Stevens provided wonderful lunches as part of the package.Posted on Tripadvisor Steve M31 July 2026Verified Great trip Throughly enjoyed my 5 day trip with Laura and her partner Stevens. Laura was above all else calm and very Curtis as well as being very knowledgeable about the wildlife and flora on Mull and the other islands we visited. An excellent and safe driver of the minibus. We were treated to sightings of Otters, White-tailed sea and Golden Eagles. We did not go on the boats that throw fish for the White-tails so had to get the sightings and photographs the hard way, after reflection I think this way is best and more natural. Laura’s partner Stevens make us individual fresh homemade packed lunches that nothing other than extremely delicious. I can without a doubt recommend Mull Wildlife Tours.Posted on Tripadvisor Ruihan Z23 July 2026Verified An amazing experience! We stayed in lovely hotels, enjoyed delicious breakfasts and dinners, and admired breathtaking landscapes. We were lucky enough to see so many wild animals, thanks to Laura, who knows all the best local spots to find them. As for Stevens, our amazing cook—his lunches were so good that he has set a brand-new standard for my boyfriend !Posted on Tripadvisor Jackie E9 July 2026Verified Wildlife break on Mull A fantastic wildlife break on Mull. Laura and Stevens were brilliant- saw lots of wildlife and learnt lots of interesting facts about Mull and its people and wildlife. They are both really knowledgeable about the wildlife on Mull. The lunches home-made by Stevens were really delicious! The group size was just right. The Glenforsa hotel was rustic but a lovely base and great food and really helpful hotel staff.Nice beach and wildlife to see in the evenings after dinner as well!Posted on Tripadvisor Barbara G4 July 2026Verified An amazing holiday would thoroughly recommend it This was my first wildlife holiday and it was amazing. Communication before we joined was great and there were even tips about what to pack. The log cabin hotel is set in the woods and faces the Sound where the views are beautiful. The hotel food was great and the breakfast set you up for the day. I was part of a group of 6 and Laura organised our days according to the weather and conditions. Every care was taken to make our holiday a memorable one. The lunches prepared by Stevens were amazing (taking into account preferences and allergies) and Laura guided us expertly across Mull where we learnt so much about the local wildlife and local habitats. The weather was truly changeable but that didn't dampen our spirits as we watched an otter fishing and a golden eagle soaring in the sky and of course the puffins on Lunga didn't disappoint. I would thoroughly recommend it.Posted on Tripadvisor Erica P4 July 2026Verified Mull Wildlife Breaks Laura and Stevens were the ultimate hosts for this holiday. The whole holiday was well - organised and everything ran seamlessly. They both have a very good knowledge of the geology, history and wildlife of Mull and surrounding islands which made it very interesting. Stevens provided us with a delicious, completely home - made packed lunches every day which took account of each individual’s dietary needs. On the final day we were treated to a lovely buffet of savoury and sweet treats, plus a glass of fizz whilst looking out over Calgary Bay. Accommodation in the Glen Forsa hotel was comfortable, warm, quiet and peaceful. The food was excellent and the chef was very accommodating to some guests individual dietary requirements. All staff at the hotel were friendly, approachable , and welcoming. Mull Wildlife Breaks was a unique experience which I will always remember.Posted on Tripadvisor DandG_at_OH29 June 2026Verified Wildlife breaks that don’t disappoint. From start to finish this was a great 5 day wildlife tour with wildlife being the operative word. Not just puffins and otters, we even looked for some ants. Meeting Laura and Stevens and the other 6 members of the tour over coffee and cake straight as soon as we arrived on the island was a good start; Coeliacs fear not - plenty of GF cake! The diverse group gelled from the start and shared knowledge as we went. Laura made sure we had the best chance of sighting the maximum number of wildlife species, from seabirds and mammals right down to orchids and wildflowers using her extensive knowledge of the islands and their wildlife. Stevens produced fantastic lunches tailored to individual needs, all packed up in individual picnic hampers - such style. Don’t expect a set itinerary; where you go will be based on the weather and up to date local knowledge; example - we went on the sea trip the first day as the forecast and sea state were good, Staffa & Lunga, calm seas, wall to wall sunshine and lots and lots of puffins on the best day of the week. The Glen Forsa Hotel was a good base for the tour and provided comfortable accommodation and excellent food, especially as 3 of us had dietary requirements. They had been pre-warned and came up trumps. We can certainly recommend these breaks with Mull Wildlife Breaks and hope to return for another tour.Posted on Tripadvisor David G28 June 2026Verified A Week with Mull Wildlife Breaks Just returned from a magical 5 day trip to the isle of Mull with Mull Wildlife Breaks. The Isle of Mull is a magical place in itself for both scenery and wildlife. This was taken beyond fantastic with Laura and Stevens as our guides. Laura's knowledge of the islands and the wildlife was astounding. As for the picnic lunches made by Stevens, they were beyond first rate. There was no way I would have expected such a fantastic, easy going trip. Nothing was too much trouble or a hassle. The group had 7 of us in it and both Laura and Stevens went out of their way to make sure that we all felt included and had a great time with over 70 species of wildlife seen or heard. Then Mull provided the Grand Finale, with a lightning show second to non. If you are going to Mull, turn a brilliant trip into a fantastic, magical time, with Laura, Stevens and Mull Wildlife Breaks.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
