WE ARE NOW TAKING BOOKINGS THE 2024 & 2025 SEASONS ON OUR BOOKINGS PAGE, PLEASE ALSO TAKE A LOOK AT OUR TRIP ADVISOR AND FACEBOOK PAGES

Day 1 – Arrive at Craignure on the Calmac 12.15 sailing from Oban (you will need to book your own ferry crossing). You will be met by your guide and taken for coffee and cake to discuss your holiday itinerary on Mull. It is a short drive to your hotel and after checking in we will assemble to head out for our first look at the beautiful Isle of Mull before returning in plenty of time for your evening meal. NOTE – You are welcome to bring your car across with you on the ferry and park at the hotel, for free. It’s cheaper and easier than leaving it in Oban.

Day 2 – After breakfast we head out for our first full day of wildlife watching in our comfortable private mini-bus. We will travel around the main central part of Mull searching for its iconic species : Golden and White Tailed Sea Eagles, Otters and Hen Harriers, Dippers and Divers along with Mull’s migrant birds. The main central loop takes in Mull’s stunning scenery showcasing its mountains and moors, lochs and glens.

Day 3 – Today we head out around northern Mull, with plenty of stunning sea views, stopping often as we search for the wildlife. We visit Mull’s colourful capital, Tobermory, for a short look around before continuing our wildlife experience. After the evening meal, we head out, on a evening time excursion looking for Tawny, Barn, Short and Long Eared Owls along with Red and Fallow Deer.

Day 4 – After breakfast we take the short drive to board the Staffa Tours boat for our day exploring the water and Islands. We set sail from Tobermory looking for Whales, Dolphins, Basking Sharks and Seals. We hope to see White Tailed Sea Eagles as we cruise across to the Island of Staffa to visit the world famous Fingal’s Cave. After an hour of so ashore on Staffa we head across to the Island of Lunga, to land and allow you to get some magical time with the Puffins (until mid August) and visit the awe inspiring sea bird colonies on Harp rock. During the day we would hope to see Skuas, Puffins, Fulmers, Petrels, Shags, Razor Bills, Gannets and Guillemots before returning to the hotel for dinner.

Day 5 – An early breakfast sets us up for a full day out on the Ross of Mull. We will head south stopping to see nesting Eagles as we continue down to Fionnphort to catch the ferry over to magical Iona. Here we will spend time on the beautiful golden sandy beaches with an option for you to take a birding walk or to pay to visit Iona Abbey, taking in all of the history. The graves of medieval kings, clan chieftains and Macbeth are to be found in the Abbey grounds. We will also search the Iris and reed beds looking for the illusive Corncrake, Sedge and Willow Warblers. Iona’s shoreline and fields hold plenty of seasonal visitors. On returning to Mull we take the scenic route looking to see Otters feeding and playing. The views here are truly magnificent.

Day 6 – Following breakfast and checkout we will take you on the short drive back to Craignure to catch the 10 am sailing to Oban (you will need to book your own ferry crossing) to start your homeward journey. Taking with you fantastic memories and the promise to “do it all again next year!”
